SIG is the leading natural gypsum producer & exporter from Sultanate of Oman. We are located at Salalah in the Dhofar governorate, which is the southernmost part of Oman. Our gypsum mines are located at Thumrait, around 80 km from Salalah city.
SIG’s gate way to the world is the Port of Salalah. It is globally recognized as a leading trans-shipment hub positioned among the world’s top ports. Strategically located at the major East-West shipping lane, the Port of Salalah is viewed as the region’s best located port in order to access the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Port of Salalah has a general cargo terminal of six berths of 9m up to 16m drafts, with infrastructure to handle the world’s largest bulk cargo vessels.
Our marketing team is available round the clock to help our customers in various parts of world meet their requirements and deadlines. We supply gypsum on FOB or CFR basis as per the customer’s needs. We have appointed SGS Oman as our surveyors as port. They are world leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. They support us with quantity & quality reports.
